About our classes

Looking for a fun new hobby? Hooping is a great way to destress, learn new skills and have an all body workout without even realising it!

In our adult beginner classes you will learn a variety of ways to exercise and dance with a hoop. You can expect an upbeat playlist to get you moving with the hoop!

No experience needed! Don’t worry if you’ve never been able to hoop around your waist before - with an adult-sized hula hoop it’s definitely achievable with a bit of guidance and practice. The hoop will drop but that’s part of the fun and learning process - you’ll be getting a workout from picking it up anyway! There are also hundreds of tricks you can learn with a hula hoop - from hand hooping to foot hooping! There’s something for everyone!

What to bring

If this is your first time coming to our classes please could you print off and fill in a PARQ form and bring it with you.

Otherwise all you need to bring with you is some water to stay hydrated throughout the class. A variety of hoops are provided for use in class. If you would like a hoop of your own, we can help advise what to get/ you will get to try some in class and see what works best for you. I can also make hoops, so feel free to get in touch and I can make one in the colours you’d like and bring it along to class.

What to wear

Come along in comfortable clothing, preferably without anything that dangles and that isn’t too loose (so the hoop won’t get caught on anything). I’d recommend leggings, a top and comfy trainers.

When & where

The class is at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall on Mondays 7:15-8pm. Simply select the date you wish to attend from the dropdown. A discount will be applied when you purchase 4 or more classes in one go. Booking is essential to secure your spot.  Places are limited.
